Timothy “Tim” D. Deal, 61, passed away on July 27^th, 2020 peacefully at his home.

     Tim was born on April 10^th, 1959 in Rapid City, SD.  The first and foremost passion in his life was the “love” he had for his family, friends and co-workers.

     He lived and worked in Rapid City, SD his whole life.  He worked at Johnson Machine, Inc. for many years and then at MG Oil Co.  He was then employed at Sturdevant’s Auto Parts for a short period of time prior to his death.

     His long-time hobbies consisted of many different things.  He loved fishing, boating, camping and hunting.  He tied his own fly-fishing flies and made his own lures and bottom bouncers.  Tim would process his own wild game and enjoyed making summer sausage and salami.  He was an avid gardener, loved canning in the fall and making salsa.  Tim also loved music, he played the drums and guitar.

     Tim is survived by the “Love of his life” of 25 years, Katherine Engel; daughter, Diana (Michael Jr.) Long, Page, AZ; sons, Jason Sharp, Rapid City, SD, Ryan (Cristal) Deal, Page, AZ, Christopher Deal, Page, AZ and David (Rikki) Deal, Page, AZ; step-sons, Shawn (Kelly) Dahl, Rapid City, SD, Justin (Angie) Dahl, Gillette, WY, Nathan (Shelby) Dahl, Rapid City, SD and Ryan Dahl, Box Elder, SD; twenty-eight grandchildren: Ethan Sharp, Kalib Sharp, Isaac Sharp, Skyla Sharp, Heidi Sharp, Devon Long, Joseph Long, Haylee Long, Alissa Long, Michael III Long, Camren Deal, Braden Deal, Zachary Dahl, Matthew Dahl, Adriana Dahl, Gabriel Dahl, Halie Dahl, Hidie Dahl, Kinsie Dahl, Kaysie Dahl, Jeremie Dahl, Jordin William-Dahl, Abigail Dahl, Joshua Dahl, Kaylin Dahl, Jaydin Dahl, RyLynn Dahl, and Roslynn Dahl; one great-grandchild, Nevaeh Sharp; special friend, Barb Muth, Rapid City, SD; as well as other family and friends.

     Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Lena (Morgan) Deal; two brothers, Dale and Darrel; and two sisters, Dorothy and Donna.

     Tim will be forever “Loved” and “Missed” by all.

     Services will be held at a later date.
