Michael Lloyd Smith, 53, passed away early Friday morning, July 12, 2013, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born on Independence Day, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, to Lloyd and Betty Smith, the second of three children. He grew up in Rapid City graduating from Central High School in 1978, then worked for many years in the computer industry earning the designation of Certified Network Engineer. Mike had many talents with sales as his strong suit. He also enjoyed gardening, family picnics and fishing in the beautiful Black Hills.
